About Me & My Approach To Wedding Photography on The Central Coast

Complete with a 2 year college education in Commercial Photography, 24 years behind the camera & over 16 years working professionally, Peer has worked side-by-side for the biggest names in Fashion & Advertising Photography on the West Coast, (including fashion photog genius James Russell). Peer has shot commercial assignments for demanding clients in New York, Miami, Atlanta & Los Angeles and directed catalog photo-shoots with budgets over $100,000 with revenue into 8 figures.

He has held the position of Staff Photographer for 7 years & freelanced for another 9 years. He has years of professional-level training in retouching, color correction & lighting as well as having been recognized as possessing more combined knowledge in Photography, Design & Photoshop than any other pro @ a company employing 20+ photographers & 14 designers in 12 studios across the United States.

He is well versed in the numerous photographic techniques used in Photojournalistic & Traditional Wedding Photography today, but likes to keep his photographic presence as low-key & easy-going as possible. This allows you to enjoy you're big day & savor the special moments while knowing you're in the hands of a seasoned professional.

My goal is to give you the same quality used by top Photographers in the Advertising-Fashion Photography Arena while strategically helping you get through the day. I accomplish this by utilizing techniques learned behind the camera & on jobs for global brands like Architectural Digest Magazine, Jockey & Mattel Toys (where I met my talented wife Rhonda Johnson; a top-notch Hollywood Makeup & Hair Artist who has worked for the prestigious Cloutier Agency on catalogs for Lands End, Disney & on prime time television shows including 6 years of the Academy Awards!).

Peer is a 4-Year Central Coast Resident & is Familiar with Local Central Coast Wedding Venues!

Upon booking a date I will work with you one-on-one to make sure your needs are met! He is insured to meet the vendor requirements of many fine venues and is a member in good standing of the Big Sur Chamber of Commerce & the Cambria Chamber of Commerce.
